Cosmetology
The Cosmetology program at ATA prepares students to pass the SC State Board of Cosmetology examination to become licensed Cosmetologists. Students practice and perform all phases of cosmetology-related skills in our school-based salon. Hair shaping, styling, and coloring, chemical services, manicuring, and skin care are all part of the curriculum. After completing a total of 1000 hours of training over two years and passing the state exam, students will be fully prepared to enter the workforce after graduation as licensed Cosmetologists.
