Automotive Technology

The Automotive Technology Class at The Academy for Technology and Academics gives the students the knowledge and safety guidelines through the ASE Education Foundation. This is to prepare the student for college-level and the workforce. The students will have basic knowledge of engine performance, brakes, transmissions, steering, suspension, air conditioning, and electrical systems. The Automotive Technology students receive Entry-Level ASE Certifications and Ford ACE Industry Certifications. We partner with multiple dealerships in Horry County to provide the students internships that can potentially turn into full-time careers.
